Casual Practice Nurse

Practice Nurse - 2 days per week to start. We are an established general practice with over 50 years caring for the Merewether community.

Ridge Street Surgery is a mixed billing practice in Merewether. We believe in clear, effective communication with clients, continuous learning and professional development and great team work within the practice, allowing experience and knowledge to be shared to ensure the best possible outcome for our patients.

Role:

* Previous experience in a general medical practice.

* Immunisation for adults and children.

* Health check as per government recommendations.

* GP Management plan preparation.

* Assistance in minor procedures including:- IUD and Implanon insertion, cervical screening, skin excisions, iron infusions, earwax syringing.

* Managing patients registers, reminders and recalls.

* Managing inventory for medical stock.

* Performing ECG, spirometry and vision tests.

* Wound review and dressing management.

* Assisting with practice accreditation processes.
