Audiologist

At Helix Hearing, our mission is to help our patients enjoy their best possible life by alleviating the communication barriers caused by hearing loss and ear health conditions. Helix Hearing (formally Gippsland Audiology & Eastern Audiology) have 9 clinics across Hobart, Melbourne and Gippsland. We are an independent private practice, offering a broad range of audiological services to the local paediatric and adult populations in the communities in which we operate. Priding ourselves on a fierce commitment to patient outcomes, we are on the lookout for an exceptional clinician to join our experienced team in our Traralgon clinic.

Our Traralgon clinic is a two-three clinician purpose-built setup. It's a well-established clinic in the community and a preferred local hearing care provider, with a history of over 30 years. With a varied and broad clinical scope of practice, you will never be bored! If you don't already have all the skills for all the different services provided, we will train you!

The position would be ideally full-time but there is scope for it to be part-time, for the right candidate. The position will ideally start no later than mid-June, 2024. Some travel to nearby clinics may be required, but these are not visiting sites and have their own complete setup and administration support.

Skills and Requirement

The position is ideally suited to audiologists with experience. Whilst the scope of practice at Helix Hearing is varied and broad, training will be provided to upskill in required areas, such as wax removal and implants. All audiologists must be a member of a professional body (Audiology Australia or equivalent), and maintain membership including ongoing CPD requirements.

• Work in accordance with our mission statement and values.

• Work within the team at your local clinic, as well as the boarder team.
• Commit to CPD activities to not only fulfil professional body requirements but enhance your clinical skills for better patient outcomes
