About The Role

Hanbury Family Practice, a well-established and respected medical practice in Newcastle, NSW, is seeking an exceptional General Practitioner to join our dedicated team. As a full-time General Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive primary healthcare services to our diverse patient population.

What you'll be doing

Conduct comprehensive medical examinations and consultations to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions

Develop and implement individualised treatment plans, ensuring the highest standards of patient care

Provide preventive healthcare services, including health screenings, vaccinations, and health education

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as specialists and allied health providers, to coordinate patient care

Maintain detailed and accurate medical records, adhering to all regulatory and practice requirements

Actively participate in the continuous improvement of the practice's clinical processes and procedures

What we're looking for

Valid medical degree and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Minimum of 3 years' experience as a General Practitioner, preferably in a primary care or community-based setting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds

Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills, with a focus on evidence-based practice

Commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements

Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the practice's continuous improvement
