Clinical Psychologist or General Psychologist

About the role

As a Clinical Psychologist or General Psychologist with Accoras Psychology Service, you will have the opportunity to:

  

• Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients across the lifespan

• Provide couples and family counselling (preferred but not essential)

• Perform assessments, including diagnostic assessment for ADHD and ASD, with both children and adults (where qualified)

• Work within a passionate team of like-minded and supportive professionals

• Benefit from a skilled administrative team handling scheduling, billing and client enquiries

• Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities.

 

If you are looking to enter private practice, we provide a supportive and flexible environment to do this.

 

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years experience and:

  

• Current general registration with AHPRA (or are about to obtain this)

• Valid Working with Children check 

• Have an ABN, Medicare provider number and professional indemnity insurance, or can obtain these prior to commencement

• Possess strong clinical skills and experience in evidence-based therapeutic approaches 

• Provide a client-centred approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
