General Practitioner

CHERMSIDE: FT/PT : $220 PER HOUR GUARANTEED IN THE FIRST 3 MONTHS: $180 PH OR 70% OF BILLINGS THEN ON :75% FOR SUPERVISING GPs: MIXED BILLING

We are looking for an enthusiastic, Full-time or Part-time MALE GP to join our  Chermside clinic 10 minutes from Brisbane CBD and walking distance from Westfield Chermside . The clinic has been operating since 1981. We have an existing clientele and there is a waiting list for new patients wanting to see a male GP.

Currently we have 6 female GPs and one male GP. We use Medical Director and Pracsoft and we are striving to be a paper-less clinic.We have various allied health professionals including psychologist, dietician, physiotherapist , exercise physiologist,podiatrist onsite radiology  working closely with the clinic. We also have a few specialists to cater to the needs of our clientelle-General Surgeon,Gastroenterologist, and  Endocrinologist.

We provide a wide range of health care services and are open 5 days a week with the option of opening after hours.  There is ample parking in the front and at the rear of the practice and separate parking for the staff.  QML pathology collection is  operating from the clinic.  All applicants must have full AHPRA Registration as a Medical Practitioner ( Specialist Registration).  Chermside is a non DWS area for normal hours and a DWS area for after hours work which is all day Saturday, Sunday and public holidays and before 8:00 a.m. and after 6:00 p.m. on any other day.  A candidate with 19AB restriction will be able to get a Medicare Provider number to work after hours.  We can help you with spousal exemption if you are eligible.We are also happy to look at a VR GP with DWS restrictions who can work as a locum for six months.
