Innervation Physiotherapy is a neurological and complex disability physiotherapy service operating in the homes and communities of northern Tasmania. Their vision is to help Tasmanians explore movement, whether for functional purposes or aiming towards sporting and recreational goals.   The Position

Innervation Physio are seeking a dedicated and experienced physiotherapist to join their team. This permanent position offers flexibility, with options for full-time or part-time hours based on the ideal candidate’s availability. The successful candidate must hold full AHPRA registration and possess experience in both community physiotherapy (home visits) and neuro skills. Usual workdays are Monday to Friday with no weekend commitments; however, your specific days can be negotiated. Travel is required to meet clients in their homes or community settings. About you:

• Tertiary degree in Physiotherapy and AHPRA registration.
• Compassionate and ambitious for patient success.
• Motivated to help people and develop skills.
• Open to feedback and willing to learn.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Experience working with clients with neurological conditions, especially stroke, brain injury, and MS.
• Knowledge of NDIS is desirable.

Their Director, Miranda Ryall, has appointments at Swinburne University teaching into the Master of Physiotherapy course (neuro block) and has worked with UTAS in the curriculum build for their new Master of Physiotherapy program. Miranda lives in Victoria but travels frequently to Tasmania to support staff and clients to manage their conditions.

Miranda has grown networks in Launceston to refer to and whilst they all work remotely and in different businesses get together quarterly for a ‘team’ dinner to aid in building and nurturing their external relationships with allied health working in the region.

  What's on offer?

They believe in being upfront about remuneration, offering three salary packages based on experience:

• wage only (inclusive of leave entitlements)
• wage and commission (with benefits)
• commission only (no leave entitlements).

They provide additional training, with weekly professional development for new and early career physiotherapists, fortnightly debriefings, monthly mentorship, and a generous professional development allowance.

They ensure you have everything you need to succeed on the go. You’ll be provided with a phone and laptop, and travel/fuel expenses are reimbursed, though a car is not provided.
