Locum FACEM Emergency Department - Northern Tasmania

Calling all FACEMs seeking a locum opportunity in a beautiful part of Tasmania!

Our client, a hospital in Northern Tasmania with access to all key subspecialties (except neurosurgery and cardiothoracic surgery), is seeking a Specialist FACEM (Fellow of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine) to join their team for a series of locum placements. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide emergency care to patients in a well-equipped hospital, surrounded by stunning natural landscapes and a vibrant city.

The Role:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of medical emergencies in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Utilize your expertise in a hospital with advanced capabilities, including a 24/7 Coronary Angiography suite and ECMO-capable ICU.

Essential Criteria:

• Specialist registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).

• August 30th - September 2nd, 2024
