About you

We have a part-time physiotherapist's role with flexible hours available ideally with a start date anytime from August, but we will reassess this for the ideal candidate.
We encourage a work-life balance and are looking at 16 hours hours/ week. You would have a built up case to step into. 

We are looking for a physiotherapist who:

• Lives on or is willing to relocate to the Central Coast.
• Is passionate about private practice and is strongly committed to excellence in private practice.
• Values working with a high performing team of physios and wants to harness the learning opportunities that comes with this.
• Is a true team player who enjoys being in a busy, stimulating yet fun clinic environment.
• Has strong manual therapy skills along with great exercise prescription abilities.
• Ideally you have a special area of interest within private practice - we currently have physios with special expertise in vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, sports physiotherapy, shoulders, spinal issues and chronic conditions.
• The position suits a musculoskeletal physiotherapist and/ or a vestibular physiotherapist with great time management skills and outstanding communication.

The role

• The hours required for this role are negotiable - 16 hours a week. This can be 4 shifts of 4 hours or working a 2 day week. If you want more hours, or less, we are flexible for the candidate.  
• You will treat a mix of private musculoskeletal patients (85-90% private, 10-15% WC or DVA) and we will assist you in building a niche caseload to suit a special area of interest.
• Appointment lengths are generous and customised to what is being assessed and treated with each patient.
• We will consider applicants with any level of experience, but this role would fit ideally someone with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in musculoskeletal private practice physio.
• Your level of experience will determine your salary package.
• Annual salary will range from $46,300 to $66,900 pro rata including your base salary plus all bonuses and entitlements (based on experience and qualifications).
• Your salary package includes a bonus/commission structure which allows you to take home an extra $2,000-$15,000 per year in performance based bonuses, based on 16 hours/ week.
• You will have access to a PD budget, internal formal and informal clinic mentoring and in-services.
• We have a highly skilled admin team to assist you at all levels of your role, especially with client retention.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Physiotherapy or the equivalent
• AHPRA registration
• Registration with Sira (Workers Compensation in NSW) and PRODA
• Professional public liability & malpractice insurance cover of $20,000,000 AUD
• Be an Australian Citizen and have a great understanding and grasp of the English language
• a First Aid certificate
• a driver's license
• a WWCC would be ideal
• excellent communication
