Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role as a Vascular Sonographer at the South Sydney Vascular Centre. The Vascular Sonographer will be responsible for carrying out diagnostic procedures using sonography equipment to examine blood vessels and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular conditions. The role involves performing ultrasound scans, collecting data, analyzing images, and collaborating with the medical team to provide accurate and comprehensive assessments.

Qualifications

Australian sonographer accreditation registry (ASAR) certification number

• Strong knowledge and experience in Vascular, Medicine, and Abdominal sonography
• Proficiency in operating sonography equipment and interpreting vascular images
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately document findings
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the medical team and patients
• Ability to analyze and interpret data to assist in the diagnosis and treatment planning
• Capacity to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Prior experience in vascular sonography or a related field is highly desirable
• Degree or qualification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant discipline
