Speech Pathologist Paediatric

Role Description

This is a contract role for a Speech Pathologist Paediatric. As a Speech Pathologist Paediatric, you will work with children of all ages with physical, sensory, or cognitive challenges.

You will be part of development assessment and intervention service team, and responsible for assessment and treatment of communication disorders, language disorders, and dysphagia.

Your day-to-day tasks include will include providing speech therapy services and developing individual treatment plans.

Your focus will be on supporting their development, growth, and learning to help them achieve independence in all areas of their lives. This is an on-site role located in the Greater Sydney Area.

Qualifications

• Hold a degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification
• Current certification or registration as a Speech Pathologist
• Experience working with children with a range of challenges and disabilities
• Strong knowledge and understanding of speech and language development
• Ability to assess and diagnose communication disorders
• Experience in developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
