Job Title:  Occupational Therapist - Dalby Queensland

This modern allied health practice has a large team of qualified staff from various allied health disciplines. About the opportunity on offer:
The responsibilities of an Occupational Therapist include, but are not confined to:

  • Assessing and designing personalised intervention services and therapy plans for various needs including paediatrics, home modifications, vocational rehabilitation, disability, neurological rehabilitation, and aged care
  • Collaborating with allied health professionals and local primary healthcare teams to achieve client goals
  • Prepare and present information sessions for educators, parents and/or other professionals
  • Provide services under the NDIS, DVA, WC, Medicare, PHN, Checkup, Aged Care Packages among others
  • Actively engage in weekly multi-disciplinary case conferences for complex NDIS clients
  • Deliver hands-on therapy and coach clients in alternative techniques to advance motor skills, coordination, balance, and mobility
  • Facilitating transformative advancements in rural healthcare and community education by actively engaging in events and providing authoritative leadership on social media within the field of Occupational Therapy
  • Create and execute plans for clients aimed at enhancing their daily routines and tasks
  • Contribute to internal PD in areas of interest, dependent on experience level

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience managing a clinical caseload
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Current Australian drivers license

Job Type:
Permanent – Full Time

Salary Information:
90,000 - $130,000 per annum.
