Occupational Therapist

Milestones is looking to welcome a new member to join our team in either a full or part time capacity, who is passionate about Paediatrics & supporting & nurturing families through all of life's important Milestones.

About the Role

This role is dynamic & includes, but is not limited to; feeding therapy, fine motor development, infant development, emotional regulation, sensory preferences, building independence, option of facilitating our unique Paediatric Developmental Groups, “Meeting YOUR Milestones” Mums and Bubs Supported Playgroup” & “Mindful Movement” - Teen and Pre-teen Pilates classes.

We are looking to fill this role as soon as possible, as we have a waitlist of clients & our current OT is also heading on Maternity Leave.

NOTE: This role will require working outside of school hours

About you

• Must have completed Bachelor of OT.
• Experience is preferred however, New Grads are encouraged to apply, with experience in Paediatrics.
• Must be AHPRA Registered
• Must have a high level of written, verbal & communication skills.
• Must be able to work as part of an MDT & individually
• Basic knowledge of the NDIS system would be advantageous

Position Perks

• Full or Part Time role
• 22-38 hours per week, flexible hours/days
• Above award wages ($70-110k/year Full Time Equivalent (FTE), based on experience)

• Varying caseloads (Private, NDIS & Groups)
• Mentoring with Senior OT and MDT caseload support
