Star Therapy Services is on the hunt for a compassionate Community Occupational Therapist based in Perth to grow our team. We are a small mobile allied health provider primarily servicing the older adult population in the Perth Metro and Greater regions. We are looking for someone to help with our clients living in Perth, and particularly the south of the river.

Provide assessments to unveil the unique needs of each individual and create personalised recommendations and intervention plans for Home Care clients.

Use your Occupational Therapy abilities to enhance their daily living, mobility, and safety at home and in the community.

Be the genius behind prescribing equipment, assistive technology, and home modifications, turning their homes into the ultimate Age-Friendly HQ!

Team up with healthcare heroes, caregivers, Home Care providers and Support Coordinators to ensure individuals get the best outcomes and reach their goals.

Educate and enlighten clients and their families on adaptive techniques, equipment usage, and home safety.

Keep track of their progress, tweak your strategies, and document your achievements to capture the incredible impact you're making.

🌟The Ideal Applicant:

You've spent at least 1 to 2 years as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a community role.

You're based in the Perth's southern suburbs, and willing to travel to see all our lovely clients in their own home.

You love the idea of getting out of an office/clinic, on the road, and into the community, and also don't mind working from home.

You're a team player with genuine collaboration skills and a contagious positive energy.

You have an insatiable hunger to make a real difference in the lives of the people you work with.

You embody humility, demonstrating compassion, empathy, and treating everyone with the highest level of respect.

You possess exceptional social skill, critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and the ability to adapt to different situations.

📝 Requirements:

Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy

AHPRA registered.

Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle, to transport to where duty calls.

Police clearance.

Located in Perth’s south (desirable but not necessary).
