Hi, we’re a medical practice supporting general practitioners who work in the aged care industry.

The idea for Tomorrow came about during our visits to patients at nursing homes. Aged care medicine is rewarding, vital work involving lovely people with such great experiences to share. A thoughtful clinical approach makes a big difference to their quality of life.

There are many fantastic doctors in Australia, but for aged care facilities in particular, we noticed residents who weren’t getting right level of attention. Due the the unique needs of the consultations and because local clinicians may not have the resources, patients don’t always get regularly visited. Why not start a practice with a dominant focus on the needs of a sometimes neglected and invisible population in our community?

Moving into a nursing home can be stressful and create a lot of questions. The healthcare component isn’t something additional you should worry about, so our mission is to create medical peace of mind for residents and everyone around them. Achieving it comes down to a very simple question: how would we treat patients if they were our own family?

Firstly, by thoroughly and regularly monitoring the status of their health. We use the latest training and technology to ensure medical conditions like dementia, arthritis and diabetes are proactively managed. We visit regularly and offer a familiar face. We involve nurses, geriatricians and other specialists as appropriate to ensure patients receive comprehensive care, and these services are usually bulk-billed.

Equally vital is communication — with patients, family members and aged care facilities. Our doctors seek to be contactable, approachable and to provide clear updates and management plans about your loved one’s health. It’s this willingness to talk, educate and be open that we think makes the difference between reasonable and great care.
