Wangaratta Medical Centre is a GP owned, private billing and teaching practice (GP Registrars and Year 3 Medical Students).

Multiple Special interests (Paediatrics, O&G, skin cancer surgery, Geriatrics, Palliative Care and Lactation).

New GPs are encouraged and supported to pursue special interests.

The practice is mainly appointment based but we also provide limited on the day walk-in services. The lead clinicians are experienced GP Supervisors, Medical Educators and College examiners.

FT nursing support x 2. Nurse initiated Health Asessments, care plans and medicals. We have a treatment roon for procedures. Pathology on site on saturdays

We offer 55-65% of in-hours billings and 100% of out of hours billings. Minimal on-call as shared with other practices in town (i.e 1 weekend every 3-4 months).

Our location is in the middle of the health district in Wangaratta (in front of the local public hospital). We are supported by multiple imaging and pathology providers within walking distance as well as other medical specialists (Surgeons, Urologist, ENT, Paeds, O&G, Ortho, Physicians, Geriatrics, etc). Multiple allied health (podiatrist, physiotherapist,dietitian,diabetic educator, exercise physiologist, OT, psychologist, etc) also within walking distance.
