Our Practice is committed to quality improvement
Hillside has been accredited by AGPAL (Australian General Practice Accreditation Ltd.). We are also accredited as a Registered Training Practice with both ACRRM and RACGP.
These accreditation certifications are granted by the practice meeting strict standards set by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. As a teaching practice we host medical students as a part of their training towards becoming General Practitioners of the future.
These students sit with the experienced GP’s in the practice and are able to provide a service as is appropriate to their level of training, under supervision. When students are present in the practice, you will be asked if you mind having a student sit in on your consultation, prior to your consultation with the Doctor, the experience gained will hopefully encourage these trainee’s back to the country to work as qualified GP’s.
Hillside Family Practice has been a part of the Albany Community since January 1995.
