Sanctuary Lifestyle Clinic is the concept of Dr Andrew Pennington, a GP committed to using lifestyle strategies along with conventional and natural remedies to prevent, arrest and reverse disease processes wherever possible.

Dr Pennington was previously a contracted GP at Sanctuary Medical Practice in Pyrmont, a medical practice using lifestyle medicine to meet the needs of the community of Pyrmont and surrounds. It operated for 5 years until its closure in January 2016 for financial reasons.

Although Dr Pennington was sad to see Sanctuary Medical Practice close, he was keen for the spirit of the practice to live on. Hence the birth of Sanctuary Lifestyle Clinic. The addition of dental services is a welcome addition to the philosophy and concept of the Clinic.

Former Sanctuary Medical Practice patients will notice similar design features of the logo and styling which has been deliberately kept to allow continuity of the Sanctuary story.

Sanctuary Lifestyle Clinic will be storing the medical records of previous patients for up to 7 years from their last consultation, or until the age of 25, whichever is sooner, as is required by law.
