• About Dr Fine

Dr. Fine received his Dental Degree in 1981. He initially practised General Dentistry for five years while, at the same time, studying further to receive a Master of Science Degree in 1985 from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa.

He went to Canada from 1986-1989 to study orthodontics full time and received his Specialist Orthodontist (Master of Science) Degree in 1989 from the University of Manitoba.

Dr. Fine is passionate about orthodontics and regularly attends national and international conferences to keep up-to-date with the latest research and development in orthodontics. He can often be found researching the latest orthodontic advances in Biology, Technology and Art and how they best interact, so that his patients will always be getting the best available care.

He has lectured to Orthodontists at both national and international meetings.

Dr. Fine has practised in Bondi Junction since 1991. He built his present office in 1999 and continually strives to keep it current with technological advances and patient needs, opening a branch in Maroubra in 2011 for patient convenience.

Dr. Fine has been a visiting Specialist Orthodontist for the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. He has spent some years teaching post-graduate orthodontic students at Sydney University. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) as well as the Australian Society of Orthodontists (ASO). He is an active member of several dental study groups, as well as a Past-President of the Alpha-Omega Sydney Chapter.

He has 3 grown-up children and enjoys playing music and keeping fit in his spare time.
