Dr. Rifi graduated from University of Sydney in 1989 and graduated as a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1996. Dr Rifi is a current member of the Immigration Ministers Advisory Council. A Human Rights and Equal Opportunities Commission Award recipient, NSW Local Hero for 2008, former member of NSW Medical Board, and Community Relations Commissioner. He has a special interest in family medicine and men's health. Dr Rifi is accredited with the Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited (AGPAL)

We are a Bulk Billing Practice

Please present your medicare card, pension card or HCC card if applicable to the receptionist. We also accept DVA gold and white card holders.

Non Medicare Billing

If you do not have a medicare card we charge $65 per consultation  A full fee schedule is available with our reception team, please ask to view.

After Hours Care

If you get sick at night or on the weekend, please ring Syndey Medical Services on 8724 6300 and inform them that you are Dr Rifi's patient. In an Emergency call 000

Family Practice

We pride ourselves on providing all our patients with the best possble care. Dr Rifi will take the time to ensure all his patients receive the best available care.

As part of our services Belmore medical centre is introducing a new service to help reduce our patients waiting times. The centre now employs a practice nurse to provide additional services that can be done in consultation with the doctor on site.
The practice nurse will be available to provide the following services:

• Blood Tests
• Plaster, Bandaging and stitches including removal/Wound care
• Liquid Nitrogen (Cryotherapy)
• Liquid Nitrogen
• Asthma Health Check
• 4 Year old health checks. Now required for all children turning 4 and attending school the following year
• 45-50 Year old health screens
• General health checks including blood pressure monitoring, weight and height recordings for doctor to follow up on.
