Welcome to North Shore GP

North Shore General Practice has been caring for the Northern Beaches Community since Dr Horsfall opened a clinic in Deeragun in 1985. We have grown with the region, evolving into a multi-clinician team based practice that includes primary care nurses, mental health nurses, GP’s and psychologists.  The practice is co-located on a site with health businesses including Radiology, Pathology, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Dentists and Chiropractors.

North Shore General Practice is an accredited training practice with strong links to James Cook University providing placement for General Practice Registrars, nursing and medical students.

Whilst our clinicians come from varied backgrounds, we aim for a consistent approach to care and actively encourage our patients to develop relationships with more than one doctor within the clinic. This reduces reliance on a single doctor, with the benefit of gaining valuable second opinions.

We treat a wide variety of illnesses an d injury, but also have a strong focus on prevention and wellbeing, so you don’t have to be sick to be seen! We offer comprehensive check-ups for patients of all ages and in addition have a very busy Well Women’s Clinic.
