Moil Medical Centre is an Accredited General Practice. The practice principle Dr Tilakaratne has long standing commitment to the community of Darwin providing Bulk Billing medical service.
CLOSING THE GAPCLOSING THE GAP is for Indigenous people, which aims to support both health services for Aboriginal and Torres Islander individuals to improve access to and outcomes of care.
ASTI Health checks are available every 9 months.
Patients over 15 are eligible to receive extra allied Health Service referrals and PBS prescription discounted price or Free if you have a Pension card or Health Care Card each calendar year.
TEACHING CENTREMoil Medical Centre is a teaching facility for Registrars, Junior Doctors and Medical Students in conjunction with NTGPE, Flinders University, University of Adelaide and the NT Clinical School.

ABOUT PRACTICE DOCTORSDr. Sirima Tilakaratne MBBS, FRACGP
Dr. Tilakaratne obtained her primary medical degree in Sri Lanka, where she also went on to gain further experience in Anaesthetics. After working in the UK, Dr. Tilakaratne migrated to Darwin, Australia in 1983. She has since spent the great majority of her professional life serving the Darwin community as a General Practitioner. Dr. Tilakaratne thoroughly enjoys using her 40+ years of medical knowledge and experience to teach and mentor doctors and medical students at Moil Medical Centre.
Dr. Kavitha Arulanandam MBBS
Dr Kavitha completed her primary medical qualification in Sri Lanka. In 2003 she moved to Australia and worked at the Mount Gambier Hospital in SA, Queen Elizabeth Hospital in SA, and Monash Medical Centre, VIC before moving to Darwin in 2010 to work at Moil Medical Centre.
Dr. Jag Kandangath MD, DCH, FRACGP
Dr Jag completed his primary medical qualification from Europe in 2004. He then specialised in the field of General Medicine and obtained his post graduated degree in General Medicine from Europe in 2008. He then worked as a General Practitioner in Adelaide during which he obtained Diploma in Child Health from Women's and Children's hospital, Adelaide in 2010. He also worked towards his Fellowship in General Practice during this time and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in January 2012. Dr Jag has been working in Moil Medical Centre since October 2012.
