• Skin checks and Biopsies of suspicious lesions
• Excursion of skin cancers are carried out if indicated

 

MENTAL HEALTH

• Both our practices actively manage the mental health of patients by providing support to our patients.
• Coordination with Psychiatrist, Psychologist and counsellors to ensure better outcome
• Providing mental health care plans which allows patients to see Psychologists for a number of visits as per Medicare rules.

 

WORKERS COMPENSATION

• Our practices care for workers who are injured during the course of their work by providing emergency treatment and care.
• Lease with WorkCover to provide ongoing care for the injured worker

 

COMMERCIAL DRIVING, EMPLOYMENT MEDICALS, RECREATIONAL DRIVING MEDICALS

• Above services are carried out mainly at North town Medical Center
• These services do not attract Medicare rebate.

 

EMERGENCY TREATMENT

• Our treatment rooms are well equipped to take care of emergency management
• Rooms are equipped with ECG, Defibrillator, Oxygen, Fluids, Nebuliser, Spirometry, Intravenous etc.

 

CHRONIC DISEASE MANAGEMENT

• Patients having chronic disease are provided care through Medicare in the form of care plans which can be carried out every 3 months.
• These plans also assist your care of chronic conditions by referring to allied health professionals.
• Our Doctors assist you in caring for these conditions.

 

WOMEN’S HEALTH

• Our practices carry out PAP Smears and maintain a PAP registers in addition to STD screening wherever required
• Advice regarding mammography
• Insertion and removal of implants
• MIRENA insertio.
• Advices about menopause and its management

 

CHILDRENS HEALTH & IMMUNISATIONS

• Our nurse can monitor the growth of the children to make sure of their physical health.
• Complete immunisation and recall of your children at recommended interval
• Immunisation records are forwarded to Australian Childhood Immunisation register regularly

 

INDIGENOUS HEALTH CHECKS

• Indigenous persons are entitled to a complete check up every 9 months
• These checks ensure that person is to make sure of the physical, mental and social well-being
• These checks may carry out services of allied health professional if required
