LINDFIELD FAMILY MEDICINE (LFM) has over 60 years' experience in providing general practice medical services. Incorporating Drs Ferraris, Power and Associates, today we are a group of twelve dedicated medical professionals who aim to provide the highest level of healthcare to individuals and families. With a wide variety of special interest areas our doctors are committed to continuous vocational development.

WOMEN'S HEALTHCARE
All aspects of women's healthcare needs: PAP screens - breast examinations - mammography referrals - family planning and menopausal advice.
FAMILY PLANNING AND OBSTETRIC CARE
From contraceptive advice to infertility assessment and referrals, our doctors are able to provide you with individualised management plans. We also provide shared care obstetric and post-natal care, liaising with Royal North Shore and Hornsby hospitals.
CONTRACEPTIVE SERVICES
- IUD (intrauterine device) insertion and removal - Implanon (insertion and removal)
- Sexual health screening - Pregnancy counselling
MEN'S HEALTH
Regular health checks, blood pressure checks, cholesterol checks, prostate checks and advice and treatment on sexual health.
SKIN CARE
Our doctors are experienced in performing skin checks, biopsies and excisions. They are trained to know which lesions need specialist referral.
MENTAL HEALTH
Good mental health is central to the wellbeing of individuals, families and communities. Our mental healthcare services include: medication management, GP Mental Healthcare plans, counselling and referral to allied health providers.
IMMUNISATIONS
Immunisation protects against a range of preventable diseases and infections. We provide childhood immunisations, catch up immunisations, Influenza, Shingles, Whooping Cough (Pertussis), Pneumococcal and Yellow Fever immunisations.
TRAVEL MEDICINE
We provide a range of up to date travel medicine services including onsite Yellow Fever vaccination service and general travel vaccinations and advice.
CHRONIC DISEASE AND HEALTH CARE PLANS
Chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, osteoporosis, arthritis, chronic pain are amongst the most common conditions that can be supported with the help of a care plan. You may be eligible for a care plan which can assist you in getting support services (e.g. physio and speech therapy) at a more affordable rate.
NURSE CONSULTATIONS
Our Registered Nurses are able to take appointments for established patients of the practice under supervision of your GP. Their services are generally bulk billed and include:
Childhood and general vaccinations, wound dressings, blood pressure monitoring, health assessments and booster immunisations.
SPECIAL NEEDS
Access to our practice is at street level and wheelchair accessible. There is parking available in the adjacent Tryon Road carpark and again there is level access. We also have disabled toilets on site.
TRANSLATION SERVICES
We can organise access to the TIS National Interpreter Service where an interpreter is necessary to facilitate healthcare services. We can also organise the National Relay Service for those with high level hearing needs. Please ask our friendly reception about these services.
