Doctor on Duty™ is the Leading Provider of In-home and In-residence After Hours Medical Care on the Coffs and Central Coasts, Byron Bay, Ballina, Lismore & Lake Macquarie.

We provide diagnosis and, where appropriate, treatment and medication during the out-of-hours periods when general practices are closed.

It is important to note that if you have an emergency, it is best to dial 000 instead of waiting for a Doctor On Duty™ doctor to visit you at home. Your health is our priority, so our phone triage staff are professionally trained in assessing your symptoms and determining whether you should hang up immediately to call 000 or have one of our doctors visit you at your own home.

 Hours of Operation

Our booking lines are open from 4pm weekdays, 10 am Saturday and all day Sunday and public holidays.

 Our Safety

Our doctors are escorted by chaperones who travel with them everywhere and ensure they arrive at each call with the minimum of travel time and in safety.

Our doctors do not carry or provide drugs of addiction.
