Established in 1998 Midtown Medical Clinic is a large General Practice co-located with two other practices - The Melbourne Sports Medicine Centre (a Sports Medicine and Allied Health practice established in 1993) and Medical Specialists on Collins (a visiting Specialist Centre established in 2013).  All three practices take up the fourth floor of 250 Collins Street, have six actively involved and practising Directors, one Practice Manager, two Assistant Practice Managers and a large supportive administration team.  All three practices share a spacious staff room.

Midtown Medical Clinic has 21 experienced and diverse General Practitioners who manage every aspect of patient health.  There is considerable cross referral within the General Practice group depending on area of expertise and interest. and significant liaison with Allied Health and Specialist Practitioners.  Our mission is comprehensive, compassionate healthcare of the highest quality, our goal to ensure that all aspects of patient health can be dealt with in one location if desired.

Our General Practitioners are wonderfully supported by two full time Primary Care Nurses/Nurse Immunisers.  Their knowledge is second to none and both are highly respected by all Medical, Allied Health, Specialist and Administrative staff.  Their role includes: health education, child and adult immunisation, wound management, assisting with minor procedures, conducting iron infusions, 24 hour monitor fitting and removal, counselling, management plans, management of supplies, management of the staff immunisation program, assistance with accreditation plus so much more!

We are extraordinarily proud of the fact our staff have been with us for many years.  Many of our General Practitioners have been with us for more than 15 years and both Primary Care Nurses for more than 8 years.  Our administration team is also a tight knit group, supportive of one another and all clinicians they take care of.
