Profile Summary
Border Urgent Care Centre is Albury's first Medicare Urgent Care Clinic, funded by the Australian Government.
Our centre provides care for urgent, non-life-threatening medical conditions that cannot wait for a regular General Practitioner (GP), but don't need to go to the Emergency Department (ED).
This clinic does not replace usual appointments with your regular GP.
Although you have booked a time, all patients are clinically assessed and triaged upon their attendance, based on the severity of your condition.
This service is Medicare funded, meaning there is no cost to the patient for their clinical consultation.
Please note, if you have flu like symptoms, you are required to wear a mask while attending the centre and report symptoms to the receptionist upon arrival.
Medicare Urgent Care Clinics are not an emergency service.
