Profile Summary
At Look Who’s Talking, we see you as a whole person. You’re not a diagnosis or a collection of symptoms.
You’re you – a unique person with both strengths and challenges.
You’re also part of a family and a community. We work closely with your family and, in some cases, even with your work colleagues to help you deepen connections.
We believe communication is a two-way street. We can help you communicate more effectively but we also believe other people need to be more willing to listen carefully, learn to sign or become comfortable with augmentative and alternative communication methods.
Look Who’s Talking has been serving the Redlands community for 20 years.
Director Sarah Teoh originally began working in the clinic as a speech pathologist. When the original owner decided to sell the practice, Sarah stepped up and bought it.
Sarah’s vision is for Look Who’s Talking to be a place of refuge for families dealing with communication challenges or NDIS headaches – a place where you’re supported and encouraged as you make progress towards your goals.
Along with our Bulimba office, we now see clients in Birkdale, Eight Mile Plains (mobile service) and plan to expand to the Gold Coast.
At Look Who’s Talking, you’re assured of high-quality therapy – that’s a given.
But what really surprises people is the additional level of care provided by our front desk staff, the amazing Client Care Team.
These folks go above and beyond. They don’t just book appointments and do the admin. And they definitely don’t give a disapproving ‘tut-tut’ at restless kids in the reception area.
No, these guys welcome you and your family and get to know your kids.
Many kids are using keyword signs – so our Client Care team have learnt a few signs too.
One of our clients loves to shred paper – so they save that day’s shredding for him to do.
Another enjoys printing things – so they help him find downloadable colouring pages and print them off.
That’s special. The Client Care Team goes above and beyond for you too.
They know how hard it can be to wrangle the NDIS and they’re happy to share the tips and tricks they’ve learned along the way.
