Our services are delivered to ensure that the dignity of older people, including those living with a diagnosis of dementia, is always respected and that their independence and abilities are supported.

With DACS, you and your loved one will feel empowered, valued, connected, and independent. DACS staff are specially trained to deliver comprehensive and tailored support, enabling you to continue to maintain an active and socially engaging lifestyle.

Our community and home support services not only enable you to remain at home but also keep you actively engaged within your local community longer. Our service offerings encompass a range of options such as domestic assistance, medication assistance, lifestyle activities, allied health, meal preparation, and more.

Information is available to assist caregivers in taking a well-deserved break and enjoy activities like going on a holiday. DACS provides carer support and education groups, an advice line, and specialised dementia services.

DACS services are available across several regions in New South Wales including the Southern Highlands, Central Coast, and New England. DACS is regularly adding new locations and services. Please note that not all service types are currently available in every location.

Services can be accessed under the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and Home Care Packages (HCP). You can also pay for DACS services privately.
