Northwest Physiotherapy Group relocated to new purpose built Physiotherapy rooms at Essendon in July 2016. NWPG services surrounding areas of Essendon including Moonee Ponds, Strathmore, Brunswick West And Niddrie.

Northwest Physiotherapy Group was first established as Moonee Ponds & Essendon Physiotherapy Clinic in 1990. The clinic was relocated to Moonee Ponds and the Roxburgh Park arm of the business was sold in October, 2013 to another Physiotherapy group to consolidate the business, allowing the principals to focus on the main Moonee Ponds physiotherapy clinic.

The two principal northwest physiotherapy experts Russell Visser and Graham Nelson are experienced physiotherapists.

Russell was an AFL physiotherapist for the Western Bulldogs Football Club (formerly Footscray Football Club) from 1988 to 1996.

Graham has a Masters in Manipulative Therapy. They have developed close links with local doctors, specialists, sporting clubs and gyms.

Treatment is based on careful and thorough assessment and our northwest physiotherapy experts participate in continuing education both external and in-house to maintain the highest standards of treatment. We communicate with other health professionals and have excellent referral links with sports doctors, specialists such as orthopaedic surgeons, neurosurgeons and rheumatologists, podiatrists and personal trainers.
