In 1975, a small group of local families began working together to develop programs and provide support to people with a disability, their families, and to assist others in the community who were disadvantaged or underprivileged. More than 45 years on, their vision and commitment has evolved into Mpower Inc, an accredited, community-based agency taking the lead in providing quality services that empower people to have meaningful connections to their communities throughout south-west Victoria.

Offering a range of services and community programs across south-west Victoria, our funding is received from government sources, primarily the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services and also donations from philanthropic trusts. Mpower Warrnambool continues to work towards their vision of a community inspired and empowered by people of all ages, abilities and differences.
