Bridging the Gap is an independent, not for profit, community organisation, serving the community since 1984.

Our Mission
To serve and build hope in those who are struggling, abused, addicted, disabled, homeless, neglected, lonely, disadvantaged or hurting in our community.

To create a safe place for people to learn, grow and rebuild through:

Building capacity in families and their children to learn
Providing tools to build and rebuild relationships
Fostering opportunities to heal

Our Vision
To honour God by serving people and building hope in those who are hurting in our community.

We believe every individual is of worth and we offer respect-filled relationships. Bridging the Gap values integrity and we are accountable in all that we do.

Our strategy is to offer opportunities for healing, learning and growth and to empower people by increasing knowledge, skills, health, education, connectedness and employment opportunities in a safe, respect-filled environment.

Bridging the Gap and its staff aim to support and develop people through community development projects, early intervention programs, adolescent & family counselling, youth programs and family support.

Bridging the Gap and its mission and values are founded upon the Word of God.
