Goonellabah Medical Centre opened in March 1997 when three established local general practices amalgamated to provide a more comprehensive medical service.

The centre is open 6 days a week. The doctors, nursing staff and allied health professionals all contribute to improving your health. A pathology collection centre is open weekdays. There is an area for urgent cases including the facilities necessary for management of acute injuries such as minor fractures and lacerations.

Hospital-based investigations or admission can be arranged for Lismore and St Vincent's Hospitals. Within Goonellabah Medical Centre computer technology is used for efficient communication and record keeping.
