Listen in... provides specialist programs and therapy for children and adolescents who need additional support to reach their full potential. Listen In aims to be a community minded service working within a private structure. We believe that forming long term and responsive relationships with clients and their families is key to providing effective support.
Listen In knows that each child is unique and offers a multi-disciplinary team approach to provide the most suitable intervention for each individual client. The Listen in team meets each child at their level and offers a structured, supported and specialist program to meet their needs. Listen In believes that parents/ caregivers are vital in meeting the therapeutic needs of a child and encourage active participation in therapy sessions where appropriate.
Listen In... groups offer a safe and fun environment for both pre-schoolers and school aged children to develop and practise their social skills, listening and speaking skills, gross and fine motor skills as well as pre literacy skills.

Educational Psychologist - Danielle Lonsdale
Certifications include: Bachelor of Arts Honours (Psychology) Master of Child and Educational Psychology and Member of the Australian Psychological Society.
With over 20 years experience Danielle is a registered Educational and Developmental Psychologist specialising in assessment and intervention of children and adolescents.
She has vast experience in her field and a keen interest in the areas of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disability and Social Skills Programming. Danielle strives to work with children and their families from initial consultation assessment through to achievement of all therapy and program goals.
Psychologist - Christine Ernest
Christine is a registered Psychologist who has Bachelors and Masters degrees in Psychology from the U.S, as well as a Doctorate in Clinical Neuropsychology from the University of Melbourne in Australia. Her specialised training includes expertise in assessment and diagnostics in brain functioning and the associated cognitive and behavioural presentations. She has previously worked in various academic and research settings, including being a Research Fellow with a number of publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals to her name. Christine has been a Member of International Neuropsychological Society and an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society for over 20 years. Christine has recently returned to practice after a period of being a stay-home Mum to her five boys. She has considerable experience in parenting and working with pre-school and primary school- aged children in various capacities.
Speech Therapists - Donna Anderson, Vanessa Hally, Anastasia Spanos, Liana Siskos and Monique Caruana, Laura Fumei ( Liana Siskos and Monique Caruana are currently on Maternity leave)
Donna is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist (CPSP) who has a Masters of Speech Pathology and a Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies, with 7 years teaching experience in kindergarten/Pre-prep and early intervention, and over 10 years as a Speech Pathologist. Donna has a Paediatric focus in articulation, phonological awareness, receptive and expressive language, social/pragmatic skills, including social skills and ready for school groups for children with ASD and similar issues.
Vanessa is a Certified Speech Pathologist with a Masters Degree in Speech Pathology from The University of Melbourne and a Bachelor Degree from LaTrobe University in Health Science majoring in Rehabilitation Counselling. Vanessa has been working successfully for 3 years as a Speech Pathologist in Early Childhood Intervention assisting children with speech, language, literacy and pragmatic difficulties. Vanessa's caseload work come from clients presenting with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, developmental delay and various genetic conditions and syndromes. Vanessa has a passion for helping children thrive, her passion has continued from her earlier university days where she volunteered at Focus on Speech assisting in a Lego Club Social Skills Group to her contribution to a research study which she is now co-author of in the Journal of Clinical Practice in Speech-Language Pathology for the study “A rural clinical placement: Children's outcomes†published in 2019.
Ana is a dedicated Speech Pathologist who aims to provide high quality, functional services to paediatric and teenage clients and their families. Ana has a masters of Speech Pathology and Bachelor in Psychology from the University of Melbourne. Ana has clinical interest in motor speech, language intervention and working with neurodiverse children and their care teams. She has experience working with clients, caregivers and their extended support networks to achieve client goals and maintain client satisfaction. Ana offers services in clinic and via telehealth and offsite. She has effective communication skills and is fluent in English and Greek. Ana has strong clinical knowledge and is dedicated to maintaining evidence-based practice in her work.
Laura is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist who graduated with a Masters of Speech Pathology in 2013, and also holds a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Linguistics. Laura has spent her time as a Speech Pathologist working in primary and secondary schools across Melbourne, and has worked with students across the areas of expressive and receptive language, pragmatic language skills, articulation and literacy. Laura has worked with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, learning difficulties and Intellectual Disabilities. A key area of interest for Laura is early literacy skills, such as phonological awareness. Laura enjoys working with teachers and educational support staff, to best support the students in their classrooms. Laura is passionate about inclusion and is proud to be part of a profession that helps children to express themselves.
Occupational Therapist - Siobhan Robinson
Siobhan is a registered AHPRA Occupational Therapist. She is enthusiastic, reliable and confident who has a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from Deakin University, Victoria. Siobhan has worked with children and their families in various settings since 2015, as both a volunteer, and qualified Occupational therapist and Disability support worker. She started at Listen In 2022 working 2 days a week, after living and working in London. Her time in London saw her providing OT input, and intervention to students aged 4-16 years in mainstream and specialists schools in class based, group and one to one therapy. Within this time she worked with students with a range of needs and diagnosis including, ASD, Cerebral Palsy, Downs Syndrome, Global developmental Delay and Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
In Australia Siobhan has worked as a support co-ordinator, disability support worker, and Occupational Therapist with children aged 0-12 years with various support needs. Siobhan also has knowledge and experience with the NDIS
