About Paeds in a Pod
Paeds in a Pod contracts a group of private doctors and allied health professionals who provide specialist care to newborns, infants, children and adolescents.

Each independent clinician specialises in growth and development. They work from our rooms in multiple locations, providing quality care and service with best practice standards and modern expertise.

They practise within a multidisciplinary environment to provide a holistic approach to the management of complex paediatric patients. With this vision in mind, we provide rooms for experienced specialists and allied health professionals on location and have an extended network of professionals offsite.

Support for Greenslopes Private Hospital
Paeds in a Pod is associated with Greenslopes Private Hospital, ensuring specialist paediatricians and neonatologists are available to provide 24-hour care.

The individual specialist paediatricians and neonatologists who participate in cover within the Greenslopes Maternity Service provide experienced care and management of babies. This includes attending emergency and high risk deliveries in the birthing suites and operating theatres. It also includes the post-delivery care of babies on the Maternity Ward with their mothers and babies in the Special Care Nursery.

They also work from Paeds in a Pod's private rooms to provide an outpatient service for all babies, children and adolescents referred by community services such as GPs or other specialists.
