We are one of Australia’s leading charities actively changing the lives of current and ex-serving Australian Defence Force members, and their families, impacted by service.
We provide a way forward for those current and ex-serving Defence Force members and their families experiencing physical injuries, mental health impacts and social disconnection.
Many of our staff come from all areas of the Defence community and understand what it means to serve. They’re experienced in helping veterans overcome hurdles, navigate through recovery and focus on the future.
In Australia, there is estimated to be more than half a million veterans. Many have been impacted by service-related injuries and need support to help get them through difficult times. We believe that no one should go through recovery alone.
Mates4Mates is actively changing lives, with over 11,000 veterans and family members having accessed our services across our centres in Australia. In 2023, we provided over 38,300 opportunities for client connection, in person and online.
