Sisu Therapies is an integrated allied health service that specialises in developmental and mental health therapies to young people. We see clients from three through to twenty-five years.

We are located in a beautiful clinic in Beenleigh, which we've designed to feel open and welcoming.

Why 'Sisu'
The Finnish concept of 'sisu' forms the fundamental ethos of Sisu Therapies and the foundation from which our values are grounded. Sisu is roughly translated as strength of will, determination, perseverance and acting rationally in the face of adversity. Sisu is not momentary strength and courage, rather the growth and ability to sustain courage and strength through our life's journey.

The Banksia pod logo is a symbol of Sisu and our individual mental health journey. Banksia pods require adversity, time and pressure to reach their full potential. Through bushfires, drought, and time, the Banksia rejuvenates, thrives and creates new beginnings with stronger roots. The harder the journey for a Banksia the more stunning, strong and resilient the Banksia becomes long term.
