The goal of the Occupational Therapist is to assist each individual to move from dependence to independence, maximising personal productivity, well-being and quality of life.

Cairns Occupational Therapy staff strive to assist clients to maximize their functional performance in activities of daily living, work and leisure tasks. Assistance in overcoming the barriers that limit their ability to do the activities that are part of their daily life can also be provided.
