Our Services
We provide assessment and treatment of mental health issues in adolescents and adults. We are committed to providing therapy that is individually-tailored and based on extensive research, so that the therapy is as effective as possible in reducing or eliminating symptoms. Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) are two such therapies that we use. There are a range of appointment times, including after-hours time slots.
Dr Fiona J Denton founded Denton Clinical Psychology in 2005. The practice grew through word of mouth over the next few years, and by 2013 moved into its current larger premises to accommodate the growing number of referrals.
The aim of the practice has always been to provide a safe and accepting space for exploring life's challenges, and to give people the tools to effectively deal with their psychological and emotional issues.
It is our priority to help all clients feel comfortable with their therapist and with how sessions proceed. Denton Clinical Psychology is a professional yet warm and accepting practice, from the psychologists to the administrative staff to the atmosphere and furnishings.
