Why work with us
Chase Rehab was established in 2011 when occupational therapist Brooke Chapman was working in the inpatient Brain Injury Unit at Liverpool Hospital when she saw a gap in the services in her local area and developed the desire to establish a service that provided specialised community-based adult rehabilitation services to people impacted by injury and illness. Liverpool Brain Injury Unit has established national and international reputation for outstanding research in the rehabilitation of people with traumatic brain injury, which assisted to support Brooke's skill development in the beginning of her career as an OT. Following the birth of her second daughter, Brooke left the Brain Injury Unit to work full time at Chase Rehab chasing her dreams of a work life balance and providing high quality services to her clients. Brooke always dreamed of running her own business and building an environment where OTs with the same drive and passion as her could build a service that provided customised therapy programs to clients in the Sutherland Shire in Sydney, NSW. Brooke brings over 16 years of clinical experience in the disability sector, along with a wealth of knowledge she is willing to share with her team and continues to strive towards running a service that is client and goal focused.
Brooke has always envisaged working with like-minded OT's dedicated to providing high quality client focused intervention that generally love what they do. Being an OT allows Brooke and the team to be creative and think outside the box as no two clients are same. Still to this day Brooke loves to come to work and help her clients and teams' members to achieve their goals no matter how big or small. At Chase Rehab we want to encourage and support our therapist to improve their knowledge and skill levels in their areas of expertise and passion so that they can continue to provide quality services to their clients. For any person that joins our team It is important that they feel valued and have the opportunities not only to have the knowledge and the confidence to support their clients, but to work towards their own professional and personal goals as well.
Chase Rehab has grown, through word of mouth from our clients and 3rd parties, over the years, and now provides services to a variety of funding bodies including insurance companies, icare, NDIS, aged care packages and veterans. Even with the growth of the business the core values of the company remain which is to always provide client centred and community-based services tailored to the client needs to assist them to reach their full potential whilst making them feel valued. We strive to treat our clients with the upmost respect, and value their loyalty over the years.
Our therapist all work from home, enabling a work life balance, despite working in remote locations we still have a supported workplace for our staff though regular meeting forums, team outings and catchups which are some highlights of being a part of our team. It is important that our staff always feel supported and connected where every they are.
We acknowledge that there is always something to learn, and continuous learning is the minimum requirement for success in any field. We encourage our team members to further their education and skill development and for our permanent employees we offer a supportive environment for professional development and carer progression. So that our clinicians can work towards their own professional goals and have the skills and knowledge to comfortably care for our clients.
