Ginny Chang Mockford

Ginny is a multilingual speech-language pathologist (English, Mandarin & Hokkien) who has worked with children and adolescents with communication difficulties for over 20 years.

Ginny holds a Master of Health Science (Speech-Language Pathology) from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Speech Pathology from the University of Queensland. She is a registered member of Speech Pathology Australia, with Certified Practising Speech Pathologist status (CPSP). Ginny is also a member of The Speech-Language-Hearing Association, Taiwan.

Ginny has many years of experience working with families, children and adults from a diverse range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds and schools. She has a strong interest in the areas of bilingual children's language acquisition and literacy development/difficulties, and how they can best be supported to enrich their language learning. Ginny has training and experience in implementing a broad range of approaches, including Hanen-certified speech pathologist, Lindamood-Bell Programs for reading and comprehension, Auditory Processing Training Program, and the Lidcombe Stuttering Program. Ginny is dedicated to working with children to reach their potential and to achieve the best academic outcomes.
