Osteopaths & Physiotherapists are highly trained allied health care practitioners. You do not need a GP referral to book an appointment however it is possible that with one you may be able to claim part of the visit through medicare. Health Insurance covers both osteopathy and physiotherapy depending on your level of cover. If you don't have the proper imaging or scans these can be ordered by an osteopath or physiotherapist and are often bulk billed.
