Ripples has been operating in Dapto since 2017, however some of our practitioners have been practising in the Illawarra for over 15 years. We have a lot of experience working with children, young people and adults who have experienced childhood and other trauma, as well as disabilities and complex presentations.

Our mission is to provide quality trauma informed and family centred allied health support to children, young people, adults and families to support those affected by developmental trauma and disabilities:
Conducting a thorough intake process with the individual and where appropriate their support network,
Ensuring that treatment is evidence-based and trauma-informed by keeping up to date with research and training,
Not just focused on individual needs, but family-centred and collaborative within the wider care network, and
Providing experienced clinical support to practitioners working with individual for ongoing quality management within our practice, and sharing of knowledge within the field.

We are a well-established, progressive, dynamic, friendly and collegial private practice in Dapto within the Illawarra area. We have a friendly, trauma and disability supportive space close to public transport and shops, well-resourced playrooms and assessment library. Synapse OT and Ripples AHC is a well-known trauma and disability focussed practice in the area with over 16 years of experience locally, with a reputation on working collaboratively with complex presentations. Senior practitioners work closely with each team member and provide regular informal and formal supervision.
