Cancer Council & Pink Ribbon Day

Amcal has been a proud supporter of the Cancer Council for more than 10 years. During Breast Cancer Awareness Month each year Amcal Pharmacies nationwide sell Pink Ribbon merchandise to raise vital funds for prevention programs, support services and world-class cancer research into breast and gynaecological cancers.

Every year, around 12,000 Australian women are diagnosed with breast cancer. The Cancer Council aims to reduce not just the incidence of breast cancer, but also the suffering women endure while undergoing treatment. During October, Amcal and Amcal Max pharmacies raise funds for Pink Ribbon Day to assist women in their brave fight against breast cancer.
