About Us
CQ Physio Group provide physiotherapy, massage and dietetic services as well as work with a wide range of other allied health therapists under the one roof to provide a holilstic and seamless health service. CQ Physio Group is quality accredited though Quality In Practice.
CQ Physio Group has evolved from a single practice, originally known as Rockhampton Physiotherapy Centre. Rockhampton Physiotherapy Centre had been established for twenty-four years, originally situated in Alma Street and then William Street before expanding to larger purpose built premises at 1 Kent Street, Rockhampton in 2009. The move to Kent Street has been integral in attracting and retaining new physiotherapists to the region, allowing for the provision of a wide range of services, second to none in Rockhampton.
CQ Physio Group employs 14 physiotherapists, a dietitian, a massage therapist and enjoys strong working relationships with our subleasees to enable us to integrate allied health services. This ensures we succeed in our goal of helping people to meet their physical potential throughout life.
The Rockhampton practice (RPC) is the largest practice offering additional services including:
- Podiatry
- Massage therapy
- Dietetics
- Speech pathology
- Diabetic education
- Occupational therapy
- Psychology
We have eleven cubicle bays, in-practice early to intermediate stage rehabilitation gym with three private consulting rooms and a functional capacity evaluation room. In addition we also have a fully equiped gymnasium and pilates studio.

Keppel Coast Physiotherapy Centre (KCPC)is situated at Yeppoon and was established in February 2002 at the Bakehouse Business Centre, Normanby Street, Yeppoon. Originally commencing with physiotherapy services two half days a week, KCPC has been well supported by locals and GPs to expand its physiotherapy services to five days per week. A full time massage therapist has been with KCPC since 2002. In 2009 we relocated to larger premises at 31 Ben Street.
Blackwater Physiotherapy Centre (BPC) has evolved from on-site consultations at BMA one day a week to a full-time practice in Blackwater servicing both the mining and general community. This is the first full-time private physiotherapy practice established in Blackwater which is committed to providing a consistent service to the region. We do this by having a locally based, full-time physiotherapist dedicated to this practice. CQ Physio Group has been conducting on-site mine consultations since 2003.

Emu Park Physiotherapy Centre (EPPC) was established in 2003, soon after the Keppel Community Care building was opened. This centre provided an opportunity to establish the first private Physiotherapy practice in Emu Park, two days a week. This service has expanded and now works from the Emu Park Family Practice.
CQ Physio Gracemere is the most recent of our clinics to open with a physiotherapist available every Tuesday, however this will expand to include more days once demand is established. We are located at the Gracemere Medical Centre at 17 Lawrie Street.
