South Street Medical Practice & Skin Cancer Clinic is the new name for the Kennedy Family Medical Practice, which is a long-established general practice located in Marrickville, a suburb of Sydney inner west. The practice was established in 1921 and moved to its current purpose-built premises in 1982.

The practice serves a wide cross section of the community from many cultural backgrounds. Patient groups include Anglo Celtic, Middle European, Middle Eastern, Asian and Pacific Islanders.

The practice consists of one full-time doctor and two part-time doctors, supported by one practice nurse and three receptionists.

The doctors provide a comprehensive range of family medical services and have special interests in skin cancer medicine, chronic disease management, men's health, women's health and geriatric medicine.

Dr Shawki is accredited skin cancer doctor.

The practice has played a very important role during COVID 19 crisis and specifically during NSW lockdown. While the practice stayed open in full capacity to all patients. The staff have worked together as a team in a well-coordinated COVID safe plan to look after themselves, protect each other, their community and Australia. The practice has provided thousands of COVID vaccines both Pfizer and AstraZeneca and currently Booster vaccine , Paediatric Pfizer and Novavax COVID vaccine to the community.
