Outside the Square Psychology is a fee-for-service private psychology practice founded by Principal psychologist Kirsty Kerr in 2009, following four years in solo private practice. From our second floor location in Toorak Road, Camberwell, the practice grew and relocated to Banksia Street Burwood in 2013. The practice further expanded to include outreach services to country Victoria, with sessions beginning in Traralgon from 2012. In 2017 Outside the Square Psychology and Counselling Traralgon moved to the current premises in Deakin Street. The practice currently employs eleven staff across the two locations.

The majority of clients access our services partially subsidised by a GP Mental Health Care Plan, or fully covered through NDIS, VOCAT or TAC. Some agencies fund sessions or assessments for clients, such as Anglicare, Berry Street, DHHS, or the Orange Door. We charge the NDIS scheduled psychology fee, and a discounted rate for families using Medicare and those with out-of-pocket costs.
