Our Dental PracticeBreeze Dental is a local family owned dental practice conveniently located on Sir John Overall Drive in Helensvale. We provide gentle and high quality dental treatments for all patients young and old and our practice has a strong focus on preventive dental care.

About Dr Karla ScuttDr Karla Scutt graduated with honours from the University of Sydney, and has worked since 1997 in private practice in both Australia and the UK, in government clinics in country New South Wales and Victoria, and as a civilian contractor for the Australian Defence Force in Canberra.
Dr Scutt has lived in the Gold Coast since 2007 and established Breeze Dental in 2009 to provide gentle, quality care to all age groups. She enjoys providing gentle dental treatment, with a special interest in turning nervous adults into relaxed dental clients, improving smiles and dental implants.
Dr Leanne RodriguesDr Leanne Rodrigues graduated from Griffith University with Distinction in 2010. Since then she has worked in private practice in Queensland and is a member of the Australian Dental Association. Dr Rodrigues enjoys general and cosmetic dentistry, and has a keen interest in root canal treatment and treating nervous patients, working especially well with children. Dr Rodrigues’ friendly personality will ensure you have a pleasant and comfortable dental experience.
Dr Niall QuigleyDr. Niall Quigley originally hails from Ireland and he graduated from the University of Manchester, (UK) in 2004 with honours. Soon after graduation, he completed a two year Masters in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (Merit); and taught oral surgery and intravenous sedation at the University Dental Hospital.
In 2010, Dr Quigley studied advanced cosmetic dentistry at the University of California (Los Angeles) before working in New Zealand for six months. He then moved to the Gold Coast and has been here ever since.
Dr. Quigley is currently undertaking a four year masters in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics with King’s College London, and brings a wealth of experience in this demanding field to our practice.
In his free time, Dr. Quigley enjoys 5-a-side soccer, and playing the guitar.
Dr David TheanDr David Thean graduated from the University of Western Australia with Honours in 2011, and worked in private practice and in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical teams in Perth before moving to the Gold Coast. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Medicine/Surgery at Griffith University with the aim of becoming a specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. Dr Thean enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, but has a particular interest in the removal of teeth, especially wisdom teeth, as well as treating nervous patients.
Outside of work, Dr Thean enjoys rugby union and Muay Thai.
Dr Helene BenadieDr Helene Benadie is originally from South Africa and has over 18 years of experience. She is available for appointments at Breeze Dental on Wednesdays. Dr Benadie also works as clinical tutor at Griffith University Gold Coast teaching dental students.
Dr Benadie’s reassuring manner and attention to detail makes patients of all ages comfortable during their dental treatment. Our nervous patients find they can relax in the dental chair with Dr Benadie’s caring approach. She loves working with children, having three of her own, and enjoys all aspects of dental treatment including surgical removal of teeth and making dentures.
