Tangibilis Physiotherapy
Employer Business Type
Profile Summary
Founders Marcus and Jasmin started Tangibilis in 2007 with a quest to prioritise high-quality physiotherapy services in the Darwin region using honest and personalised communication, while providing individuals and organisations a thorough and authentic customer experience.
Our first venture was a thrilling challenge in consortium to provide Allied Health services to the Australian Defence Force, Northern Territory/Kimberly Region. We ran and operated physiotherapy, pharmacy, radiography and psychology services at Robertson Barracks, Larrakia Naval Base and both RAAF Bases Darwin and Tindal until 2013. From there we diversified into the Oil & Gas industry, providing onsite physiotherapy services for the entire construction phase of the Ichthys LNG Project (INPEX) until 2019. Meanwhile, we also consulted in-house for numerous agencies such as the Northern Territory Institute of Sport (NTIS), Allianz Australia Insurance and the Motor Accident Compensation Commission (MACC).
Tangibilis opened its first publicly accessible clinic in Berrimah in January 2017. While we frequently manage musculoskeletal injuries and post-op rehabilitation occurring from personal, sporting and occupational pursuits, we also provide a pelvic health service (for women and men) and a bespoke mobile exercise rehabilitation service. You may have seen us out in the local community, pools, gyms and sporting grounds.
We like spreading our wings. We consider ourselves leaders in the provision of complete Occupational Health solutions to large and small industry. We are host to Northern Occupational Health Services and provide direct access to one of Darwin's best Occupational Physicians, Dr Michael Lim. Our regular clients include South 32, INPEX, ERA, Rio Tinto, Voyages, Top End Health Services, Northern Territory Police Fire & Emergency Services, Humpty Doo Barramundi and the Northern Land Council. We regularly travel to some wonderful places to provide these onsite services.
While we are motivated by innovation, growth and the vast array of NT opportunities, our DNA remains a constant and you can be sure we'll stay true to what Tangibilis stands for.
