Sydney Phobia Clinic was born out of the idea that Specific Phobias need a dedicated service that is able to resource exclusively for effective in-house treatment, with Virtual Reality being an exciting new way to maximise this. Sydney Phobia Clinic opened its doors in 2016 as the first phobia clinic in Australia, and the first clinic to exclusively use VR in psychological therapy! The clinic has thrived ever since, seeing over 800 clients through its doors meeting their individual goals. We do things differently at Sydney Phobia Clinic, by primarily seeing clients with Phobias, treating phobias in a brief, 5-session format, and getting out and about as a rule, to ensure best-treatment is provided. We're often inside a VR head-set but sometimes we're in a flight simulator, up a tower, on a ferris wheel, at a doggy-day care centre- we aim to meet the particular needs of our clients in a practical way and are excited about what we do!
