Voice Medicine Australia is a private practice, established by Dr Debra (Debbie) Phyland in 1993 comprising a team of speech pathologists who focus on clinical laryngology. We offer voice therapy, vocal unloading and laryngeal retraining to a range of professional and non-professional voice users and have extensive expertise in the management of voice and laryngeal disorders such as: muscle tension dysphonia, spasmodic dysphonia, vocal fold paralysis, vocal cord dysfunction, chronic cough and vocal pathologies such as vocal cord nodules, cysts and polyps. Voice Medicine Australia also provides pre and post-operative voice therapy along with voice coaching for both the speaking and singing voice, to improve vocal fitness and efficiency, reduce vocal fatigue and prevent injury.
